Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a unique and modern way of therapy that taps into the body’s natural healing abilities. At ZM Hyperbaric Oxygen, we use advanced-grade HBOT chambers and equipment that put your comfort and safety first. Trust us with your health needs and experience HBOT benefits.
Our body needs oxygen to function and survive. At only as low as 80% blood oxygen level, we would already be in a serious health situation. Oxygen is found in every part of our body that contains red blood cells. Thus, to allow optimal functionality of cells and organs, we increase the level of oxygen in our body. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) does this in a controlled environment and administered by trained medical professionals.
At ZMHO, we use the best equipment made in the USA and Japan. Some of them include our single-body HBOT monochamber. This is where clients will lie down in a relaxed and comfortable position. Slowly, the pressure inside the chamber is increased at 1.5 to 2 times more than atmospheric pressure. 100% pure oxygen is released and therapy is commenced for around 75 minutes under supervision and consultation.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) helps activate more white blood cells and strengthens the body’s defense system. It also inhibits anaerobic bacterial growth that risks illness.
HBOT accelerates capillary formation in the affected brain area. With an increase in oxygen level, the lesion can be repaired faster and restore brain function. It also reduces brain ischemia and prevents apoptosis (cell death).
HBOT promotes proliferation of stem cells and increases collagen in the skin. This can reduce wrinkles and delay aging.
Wounds can get worse when there’s bacterial infection in the hypoxic tissue. HBOT allows the wound to get enough oxygen to prevent hypoxia, making it less prone to infection. Thus, it can accelerate recovery and provide relief from pain.
Our body’s skeletal system is often prone to poor blood circulation. HBOT provides more oxygen to be absorbed in the bone, thus reducing the risk of osteoblasts and osteoclast and improving bone formation.
HBOT promotes the acceleration of new blood vessels. It rebuilds blood supply networks and brings oxygen to cell tissues quicker and better. This will ensure that your organs can function properly.
Consult your doctor if HBOT is right for you, especially for:
HBOT can reduce the risk of amputation among diabetic patients that suffer from complications such as Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU) or toe gangrene.
The concentrated oxygen level stimulates cell regeneration and can fasten the wound healing process. Thus, it can minimise the risk of foot amputation caused by diabetes.
HBOT can help stroke patients recover and regenerate damaged brain cells. It can enhance brain activity and neural connection that were destroyed after a stroke attack.
A non-healing wound is a chronic wound that has failed to progress and heal within 5-8 weeks after medical treatment. It risks infection and further impairment and can cause distress and pain to the patient. HBOT can gradually help the healing process and prevent amputation and cell death.
